Information system TRAFFIC for the Estonian Motor Vehicle Registration Centre 

The users of this information system are all offices of the Estonian Motor Vehicle Registration Centre.  

The system includes:

·        Database of vehicles in the Motor Vehicle Registration, which keeps track of all motorized vehicles

     registered in Estonia incl. tractors and their trailers.

·        Database of driver’s licenses and driver’s rights 

The modules of the information system:

·        Vehicle registration (vehicles, trailers, tractors etc)

·        Technical department (type codes, rebuilding permits etc)

·        Technical inspection

·        Driver (driver’s rights, driver’s licenses)

·        Statistics, stock accounting, state tax computation, registering deposit etc

·        ARIS-WEB (web-based search system)

Thanks to web-applications the access to the information system is also possible to citizens and other institutions. Necessary data will be forwarded (replicated) for the Police, Population Register, Tax Board, technical inspection stations etc.
