INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR HOSPITALS
 
The information system for hospitals is a software that has been created for use in hospitals and bigger medical establishments. Different control systems reduce the possibility of errors and entering wrong information into the system. The analysis of  expenses of medical establishments helps to increase the effectiveness of work and also improve the treatment of patients. Systems for data search and inquiries enable immediately finding the info needed for treatment of patients and conduct fast statistical analysis and summaries.
 
The software is based on the client-server-Internet scheme and functions in MS SQL systems. The program guarantees the safety according to current requirements, enabling the use of additional servers to ensure data preservation.
 
The hospital info system software covers most fields of activity of medical establishments. Each field of activity forms a separate program-module. Patient register
 
The information system enables:
  • Add patient data to patient database
  • Check a person’s health insurance via the Internet
  • Add the info about mother, father, husband/wife or caretaker to a person’s info
  • Display the personal info in the database using the ID-number, family- and surnames or the Health Insurance Fund’s magnet card
 Reception
 
The information system enables to automize the actions of the reception-department.
 
The program enables:
  • Registering the patients to day stationary, stationary or ambulatory departments
  • Checking a person’s health insurance from the Health Insurance Fund via Internet
  • Adding the info about the mother, father, husband/wife or caretaker of the patient to  his/her medical record
  • Entering the title page of the medical record to a computer and then print it
  • The printing of forms (enclosure of a medical bill, objective findings, anamnesis)
  • Issuing medical bills and incapacity to work certificates to patients and persons hospitalized with the patients
 Registration
 
The program enables:
  • Registration of a person to a doctor’s reception
  • Adding info about mother, father, husband/wife or caretaker to a patient’s data
  • Checking a person’ health insurance from the Health Insurance Fund via the Internet
  • Printing the lists of patients registered to a doctor’s reception
  • Opening a medical services account and issuing incapacity to work certificates (printing of the header of a bill or a record)

 Laboratory
 
The information system helps with registration of orders to the laboratry, entering the analysis results into a computer and printing them. Enables the use of bar-code to order.
 
The program enables:
  • Composing orders
  • Directing the orders to the workplace of the laboratory
  • Entering the results of an analysis into a computer (automatic data input in case of a device with a suitable interface)
  • Looking at a patient’s test results (including previous tests)
  • Printing of analysis results

 Drugstores
 
The program enables:
  • Entering data of documents concerning the movement of goods into the computer
  • Getting an overview of the current state of the stock
  • Making orders for medicaments via the Internet
  • Making inquiries, quickly getting the summaries concerning nomenclature movement, record-keeping of drugs and substances, turnover of agents, monetary costs on sub-structures, turnover of drug-stores, incomes by suppliers, turnover-data, investmentlists etc.
 It is also possible to get from the system information on medicines starting to expire, goods that have ran out of stock, goods below the minimum limit etc.
 
Medisoft Ltd will also make (if the customer so wishes) an accounting-program for automatic transfer of data.
 
Radiology
 
The information system is designed for use in establishments conducting X-ray and ultrasound tests.
 
The program enables:

  • Entering the data about films into the computer (the location of the film, the defects in the film, quality, information about exposure etc.)

 Cash services
 
The program is developed to work with service bills paid by the patient either by cash or by credit card.
 
The program enables:
  • Composing and printing bills concerning the services provided to the patient
  • Making of summaries about specific periods using bills, price-lists, doctors, nurses, departments etc.
  • Searching for bills using reference numbers, patient’s familyname or ID-code and displaying them on a monitor
 Health insurance services
 
The information system enbles entering into a computer:
  • Medical bills
  • Dental bills
  • Day stationary bills
  • Incapacity for work records (also certificates for stationary patients and info about operations)
 Upon entering of the personal particulars the computer checks for health insurance.
 
Entered documents can be found by serial number of the bill, doctor, date, patient’s name, ID-code etc.
 
The program also composes a consolidated invoice for the health Insurance Fund. The cosolidated invoice sub-system enables:
  • Making consolidated invoices about bills and records terminated by a given date
  • Checking for health insurance via Internet
  • Removing and adding bills and incapacity for work records from consolidated invoices
  • Printing of consolidated invoices and lists of bills incorporated into consolidated invoices
  • Printing of data from bills and records deemed faulty by the control along with a list of mistakes in the documents
  • Removing of bills and records deemed faulty from the consolidated invoices
 The stationary department
 
The software shall be installed according to the department specifics.
 
The program enables:
  • Entering of medical and therapy info that shall comprise a person’s medical history
  • Ordering of test, analysis, procedures and viewing the results
  • Ordering medicines
  • Registering a patient to/out of a department
  • Monitoring the bedfund
 Statistics
 
The information system enables the making of statistical summaries based on medical bills and incapacity for work records. The program offers many templates for reports, leaving the user also the chance to compose and save them.
 
The user can draft repots by entering  the text of the format chosen, chosing the columns and parametres (whether price-list or profile codes).
 
The program includes reports on patients, medical records, operations, diagnostic work, medical bills etc. The system also includes statistical reports on both the ambulatory and stationary work (the annual report).
